Week 12: Texas to Virginia

After a long weekend in Texas with family for the Thanksgiving holiday, I packed up the car with Chesky and his two cat friends, Muddy and Fitzroy, and hustled across Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee and Virginia to our final destination near Washington. Each night, we stayed in hotels, and Chesky took full advantage of the space and furniture.

After three days, we reached a remote little cabin where we'll spend the next month resting and writing. It's cold in Virginia, but that's okay with Chesky. He plans to flop down by the fireplace until the next adventure begins.
